Harishree Kalyan – A unique Independence Day Celebration with Tribal Students
Harishree team, after 2 hours long drive and 1.30 hours of trekking, reached “ Jilha Parishad Prathamic Sala “ at Shisvali village near Shahpur on 15th Aug, 2019 and distributed school bags, umbrella, water bottle, pen, pencil, eraser & sharpener and a delicious lunch for them during India’s 73rd Independence Day celebration.
It was challenging at the same time thrilling experience for our team to carry all stuffs and food and walk all the way through dense trees, lush green paddy fields, crossing multiple streams and finally reaching a small school in a scenic village which is far inside from outer world. The locals and teachers also came forward to help us in carrying the materials to the venue. The children were so excited to receive their educational materials and experience a tasty lunch, which was visible with their cute smile.
Special thanks to those kind hearted ones who supported Harishree in making this possible and kudos to our Harishree team for taking this challenge to enable these children for a successful schooling.
